That said, Aug 30, 2008 corresponds to either כ״ט אב תשס״ח, or ל (the 29th or 30th of Av, 5768), depending on whether it&#039;s before the end of Shabbat (in which case it&#039;s כ״ט) or that Saturday night (in which case it&#039;s ל). Note that the 30th of Av is the first day of Rosh Chodesh, the holiday marking the new month (the second day is Monday, which is the 1st of Elul).</description>
